Collection: Bike Multi Tools for Sale

Folding multi-tools from Pro, Syncros and Speedmaster, from a 9-function pocket tool up to a 20-function with CO2 built in — plus the tool cans and caddies that keep it all on the bike instead of in the garage.

The tool you have with you

A multi-tool is not there to service the bike. It is there to make the one adjustment that gets you home: a slipped saddle, a loose bottle cage, a rotated brake lever after a spill, a rear mech knocked out of adjustment.

That means the right multi-tool is the one you will actually carry. A big 20-function tool that lives on the workbench because it is too heavy for a jersey pocket has done nothing for you on the road.

What you genuinely need on a ride

Almost everything on a modern bike is 4, 5 or 6mm hex. A T25 Torx covers most disc rotor bolts and a lot of stem and chainring hardware. A chain breaker turns a snapped chain from a phone call into a ten-minute delay.

Anything beyond that is a bonus. Spoke keys and screwdrivers are rarely the thing standing between you and home.

Tool cans and caddies

The alternative to filling your pockets is storing tools on the bike. A tool can looks like a water bottle and sits in a spare cage — tools, tube and levers inside, nothing rattling in your jersey.

The Syncros caddies take this further and mount inside the frame triangle, some with a CO2 cartridge integrated. If you ride without a saddle pack and dislike loaded pockets, these solve it neatly.

Common questions

How much should I spend?

Enough that the bits do not round off. A cheap tool with soft steel will chew the head of a stem bolt at the roadside, and now you have a much worse problem. Mid range is the sweet spot.

What else should be in the pack?

A tube, levers, a way to inflate it, and a quick link for your chain's speed. See pumps and inflation and the workshop-grade tools for the jobs that happen at home.
