Hire a carbon road bike or an electric mountain bike for a day or a week and ride straight out of our Hout Bay shop. Chapman's Peak, Suikerbossie and the rest of the Peninsula are on the doorstep.
Scott Addict 30
R1,200 per day, paid at the shop. Book online with a R500 booking fee, which counts towards the R2,000 refundable security deposit you pay when you collect the bike.
A carbon road bike with a relaxed, all-day geometry: fast, but comfortable enough for a full Peninsula loop. Sizes Small, Medium, Large and XL.
Avalanche MTe e-MTB
R800 per day, paid at the shop. Book online with a R500 booking fee, which counts towards the R2,000 refundable security deposit you pay when you collect the bike.
A 29er electric mountain bike with pedal assist up to 32 km/h and a range of up to 100 km, depending on terrain and assist mode. It has a 100 mm air fork, hydraulic disc brakes and 10 gears. Sizes Small, Medium and Large.
Pick-up and return
Collect and return your bike at the shop during opening hours. You can pick up and return on the same day, and bikes must be back before we close on your return day.
Mon to Fri: 7:30 to 17:30
Saturday: 8:00 to 14:00
Sunday: 8:00 to 13:00
Pick your dates and size on the bike's page and pay the R500 booking fee online. When you collect the bike, you pay the rental fee and the remaining R1,500 of the R2,000 security deposit. The full deposit is refunded when the bike comes back in the same condition. Riding with friends? Book each bike separately; every bike has its own R500 booking fee and R2,000 deposit.
